The Data Controller processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information, and all other applicable Hungarian and European Union legislation governing the protection of personal data.

2. Purpose of Data Processing

The website available at https://ws-dev.net (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) does not provide any functionality through which users may directly submit personal data, including, but not limited to, user registration, contact forms or newsletter subscriptions.

The Website uses no analytics, advertising or other tracking technologies. Personal data is processed solely to the extent required to operate the Website, namely to ensure its secure and proper operation, and to answer correspondence sent to the published e-mail address.

3. Categories of Personal Data Processed

No personal data is collected through the Website itself. In the course of serving the Website, the hosting provider processes technical request data, which may include:

• IP address;
• the date and time of the request;
• the requested URL; and
• the browser and operating system information transmitted by the browser (user agent).

This data arises from the operation of the internet connection itself. The Data Controller does not link it to any other information and does not use it to identify or profile visitors.

Separately, where a visitor chooses to write to the e-mail address published on the Website, the Data Controller processes the sender’s e-mail address and whatever personal data the message itself contains, for the sole purpose of answering it.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of the technical request data described above is based on the legitimate interests of the Data Controller pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, namely the secure and proper operation of the Website. The same legal basis applies to answering correspondence, or, where the correspondence concerns a possible engagement, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, namely steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.

No processing on the Website is based on consent, as the Website uses no analytics, advertising or other technologies that would require it.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

The Website sets no cookies.

The Website stores nothing in the browser’s local storage or in any other form of client-side storage. Its Content Security Policy additionally prevents the browser from loading scripts, fonts, images or any other resource from a third-party domain, so no such request is made on a visitor’s behalf.

6. Data Processors

The Website is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps in the West Europe region. In connection with the hosting service, Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited and Microsoft Corporation act as data processors and process the technical request data described in Section 3 on behalf of the Data Controller, under Microsoft’s data protection terms.

E-mail sent to the address published on the Website is received by a Microsoft Exchange Online mailbox, and a copy is forwarded to a mailbox operated by Google Ireland Limited. Both act as data processors in respect of that correspondence, under their own data protection terms.

Where the provision of these services involves the transfer of personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the processors’ data protection terms provide the safeguards required by Chapter V of the GDPR.

The Data Controller engages no other data processors in connection with the Website.

7. Retention Period

The Data Controller operates no analytics system or visitor database and therefore stores no personal data collected through the Website.

Technical request data is retained by the hosting provider for the period determined by that service. The Data Controller does not export, aggregate or further process it.

Correspondence is retained for as long as it is required for the purpose of the enquiry and for any resulting business relationship, and is deleted thereafter.

8. Rights of Data Subjects

Under the provisions of the GDPR, data subjects are entitled to exercise, among others, the following rights:

• the right to be informed;
• the right of access to personal data;
• the right to rectification;
• the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
• the right to restriction of processing;
• the right to data portability, where the statutory conditions are met;
• the right to object to processing; and
• the right to withdraw consent at any time.

The Data Controller shall respond to any request concerning the exercise of a data subject’s rights without undue delay and, in any event, within one month of receipt of the request.

If a data subject considers that the processing of their personal data infringes the applicable data protection legislation, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) or to seek a judicial remedy before the competent court.
